Reality TV - A tautology in search of a paradox?

Although they seem to inspire intense passions and a lively national debate, I have no opinion on the subject of reality TV shows. How could I? I don't watch them. Never have and probably never will. But never say never. Although I never say 'never say never'. Apart from just then, obviously. I've never said it before and hope never to say it again.
